Not just a one day event, I'm blogging every day about what I'm thankful for

So the big news today is that it rained…again! Oh, and we hit a high of 65 degrees. July 1 and 65 degrees. That just isn’t right. It was double that in Death Valley today. First we had the never ending winter and now the shortest summer on record. I think summer lasted two days 😦

But at least I have things to be thankful for today. We had set aside this week to clean out some things in the office. Year end so we can purge some old files, etc. What I had allotted two days to accomplish, took half a day. Yay! Of course, now that means I can move on to more projects.

Forecast for tomorrow is…wait for it…RAIN and 75 degrees. Of course, that was what they said today too and we never got past 65. I even had the heat on in my car tonight.

Oh, another thing to be thankful for…a high school friend was here from Georgia. We had dinner and drinks. I haven’t seen her for three or four years. Good to catch up.

  1. I was talking to Julian today about this same thing. The weather all over is weird. We have decided the end is coming and I am about to get promoted to lord of the underworld. Want to be my co ruler. Lots of roasted marshmallows.

  2. I am willing to setup some timeshare to send you some heat from here. It’s so blasted hot, can’t stand it. 65 sounds so perfect, lol.

  3. It’s been raining a lot here too. It’s much hotter though which you would probably like better! Glad that you were able to get the clean up done quickly 🙂
