Not just a one day event, I'm blogging every day about what I'm thankful for

Today’s the Big Day

Today is Andrea’s Tidal Cool Creations New York Fashion Week Debut – I’m so excited for her – and nervous too!  I’ve seen her collection and I know it is beautiful and wonderfully made.  And I’ve seen all the pictures posted from other shows and designers this week – her designs are as good as anything I’ve seen.  I so hope she can make some good connections – and even sell her line to a boutique.

NYFW has dozens and dozens of runway shows during the week – probably too many in my opinion.  But she is showing at the Small Boutique Owner show (even that has three different shows today).  She is showing at 4:00 pm.

I wanted to be there, but after sending her money to get there, just none left for me.  Plus the time and I have an event to attend tomorrow. I will be there in spirit.  I will also be following her PR firm who is there on Twitter and Instragram.

  1. Good luck to your daughter!

  2. I am excited for you both. This is a big step in the fashion industry. I know you are proud of her. I would be!

    • Thanks. I so wish I could have been there to share in her day.

      • I know. When my daughter went to a private, all girls college for her first year, all of the mothers would meet there and it was actually a requirement that mothers participate in these groups or they were fined. She was in GA and I was in FL, so I paid the fines, but it tore my heart out not to be there for her.

  3. Our children’s success’ are the best kind. Congratulations on the shoe. Sometimes parents not being there make it easier for the kids (not the parents certainly)
