Not just a one day event, I'm blogging every day about what I'm thankful for
I love the Lincoln Rhyme stories. But I think this was one of the best. In fact, I think this is one of the best books I’ve read this year.

Rhyme stories are full of facts and details that may not be important when they are introduced, but close out a case in the end. He doesn’t try and solve a case too soon because he relies on all those details.

The Skin Collector was a surprise. Just when you think the story is all wrapped up with a nice bow on it, there is another element…and another.

It is hard to go into much detail without revealing plot details. But if I could give this book 7 stars out of 5, I would. If you love a suspense book, Deaver is the best. And The Skin Collector is his best yet. I can’t wait for the next Rhyme book.

  1. Sounds like something I would enjoy now. I worry too much about revealing too much too soon with my writing. It’s hard not to, because you know…but you may not want your reader to know yet. I just made an outline for the remainder of the story. I am a panster, not a plotter, but the details were gaining on me, so.about halfway through, an outline was necessary.
