I have enjoyed the other Harry Hole books. That isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy this book – or at least half of this book. I found this one harder to read than the others though. The language and translation makes it a bit difficult.
Harry is involved in every case it seems a bit too much and a bit on the wrong side of it all. All’s well that ends well and Harry is able to finally solve multiple cases – but it didn’t really pick up steam until the last half of the book.
If you enjoy the other Nesbo books and Hole mysteries, you will enjoy this one – but I cannot recommend this book as one of the first books you would read. I gave this book three out of five stars.
