Not just a one day event, I'm blogging every day about what I'm thankful for

Guardian Angels

Today I’m sooooo thankful that my daughter’s guardian angel was watching out for her. She and Soren were in her van all loaded for a weekend camping trip. Driving down the highway (at highway speeds), her tire fell off. Just fell off. I am so grateful that they didn’t get hurt or cause an accident.

It did mean a tow truck and the expense of getting it fixed. But that is way better than them being in an accident. She said that she’s heard it has been happening around her a lot. What is the point in loosening someone’s lug nuts?????

I was up at 4:30 am (who knew that was really a valid setting on an alarm clock???) because I was volunteering for our county health fair today. The good news is that I was able to get a complete blood workup done for free so I took advantage of that. Then I got to basically babysit the kids of parents who attended the health fair. We never had more than 6 children at a time so it wasn’t too bad.

  1. Wow! So great that your daughter and Soren weren’t hurt! Guardian angels indeed. They need to catch whoever is loosening lug nuts!!!

  2. Thank heavens no one was hurt. Never heard of lug nut loosen. Pretty low.

  3. I’m so thankful your daughter and Soren are okay. That is crazy that they are loosening lug nuts…Geez! I still can’t believe you had to wake up sooo early. I hope this week isn’t too hectic!!
