Today’s the Big Day

Today is Andrea’s Tidal Cool Creations New York Fashion Week Debut – I’m so excited for her – and nervous too!  I’ve seen her collection and I know it is beautiful and wonderfully made.  And I’ve seen all the pictures posted from other shows and designers this week – her designs are as good as anything I’ve seen.  I so hope she can make some good connections – and even sell her line to a boutique.

NYFW has dozens and dozens of runway shows during the week – probably too many in my opinion.  But she is showing at the Small Boutique Owner show (even that has three different shows today).  She is showing at 4:00 pm.

I wanted to be there, but after sending her money to get there, just none left for me.  Plus the time and I have an event to attend tomorrow. I will be there in spirit.  I will also be following her PR firm who is there on Twitter and Instragram.

Proud Momma Alert

This is the big week for my daughter. She has a runway show on Saturday night for the Small Boutique

She showcases her Spring/Summer 2014 collection, entitled Midday in Marrakesh (sp?). It is a beautiful collection and I’m so excited for her. New York Fashion Week is not just a big deal…it is HUGE!

The co-owner of her PR firm is already there. She was wearing a Tidal Cool Creations dress and had her picture taken was Rachel Zoe. The dress in pink was designed by my daughter.

I’m sure I will have more pictures to share later. Although she will be too busy to take any pictures.
