I am really a talker, not a writer. But since I am always saying the reason I talk so much is because I have so many words trying to get out of my head, I decided that a blog might help me put my thoughts down. I’m not trying to influence anyone, not trying to lobby for anything, not trying to accomplish anything except to help me become a better person. If it helps someone else, that is great.
And the power of looking for something, even on the bleakest day, to be thankful for is incredible. Kind of a self fulfilling prophecy. If I am looking for good, I will find good. Conversely, if I were to concentrate on the bad, we all know there is plenty of that to go around. I want the good, the bad will still be there without me pointing it out. So, this is about all the good that surrounds my life every single day.
I was pleased that someone nominated me for a Sunshine Award. I know it isn’t a “real” award, but it made me feel good. Check out my blog post for that.
