Empire of Shadows by Sarah M. Cradit Review

Where do I begin? And how can I possibly tell you what I think of this fantastical creation without spoilers?
Empire of Shadows takes us on a roller coaster ride through other worlds and other lands as Ana, Finn, Aidrik, Nicolas, Amelia and the rest of the Deshanel clan search for answers.
This latest installment in the House of Crimson and Clover series is an epic tome. The characters are even further developed, story lines created and twisted and other worlds explored. Every book by Sarah Cradit I think is better than the last, but this book is a masterpiece. Cradit has written such a complete novel with Empire of Shadows. I was concerned about the length, but quickly realized it wasn’t long just for the sake of length. Every word was necessary. The author matures with each book and invites the reader to enter the world of the Empyreans.
I could not put this book down. It drew me into its worlds and held me there. I would give this far more than five stars if I could. This book left me speechless, yet wanting more; sad and angry, yet wanting more. Cradit is a masterful writer and I cannot wait for the next book.

Beyond Midnight: Asunder by Sarah Cradit Review

Speechless. Sarah Cradit has outdone herself with Asunder. I have read every single one of her books and have seen her writing go from very good to OMG great. She has matured as a writer and this latest book shows the depth and breadth of her writing. If you were distraught after reading Midnight Dynasty, then reading Beyond Midnight will soothe your soul. Sarah brings the Deschanel curse full circle, yet sets the stage for her next book. And with the maturity of her writing, I can only imagine the next book.

In Asunder, Cradit brings key characters to the forefront and has the reader cheering for their decisions, even if they are crying for the hard choices.

Bravo, Sarah! This was an incredible thing to read – eye candy for the soul. This book is definitely five out of five stars.

Midnight Dynasty: Malediction by Sarah Cradit Review

First of all, let me say I love the House of Crimson and Clover Series. I thoroughly enjoyed this latest addition. However, I felt like it presented more questions than it did answers with the Deschanel family. They are so interwoven with the Sullivan family and are, indeed, cursed. Can they ever break free and be happy?

Not being a patient person, I’m not sure I can wait until Part 2 is released. It was a bit of a cliffhanger. A very good cliffhanger. One that has me clamoring for more.

I do recommend this book. But only if you’ve read the earlier books in the series. I give this five out of five stars.
